🛠 Before we ship the device• Verification maybe required:
You’ll need to complete a credit check and identity verification after placing your order.
• Choose your method: You can receive the verification link by text or email—whichever works best for you.• Your privacy matters: AuthenticID only retains your information for 48 hours, after which it is permanently deleted in accordance with industry standards.
• No impact on your credit score: This process does not affect your credit profile or score.• No downloads needed: The verification is web-based—just follow the secure link. No apps or software are installed.

đź“· Tips for Capturing Your ID
To help ensure your ID is accepted on the first try:
• Place your ID on a flat surface with a contrasting background (e.g., light ID on a dark table).
• Avoid holding the ID in your hand.
• Ensure the photo is well-lit, steady, and shows the entire document—including edges, barcodes, and codes.
• Avoid flash or extra lighting if it causes glare.
• If your ID is scratched or worn, try gently cleaning it or using a different valid ID.
• Older devices with low-resolution cameras may affect image quality.

🤳 Tips for Taking a Selfie• Make sure your full face is visible: forehead, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, and chin.
• Glasses are fine, but remove hats or head coverings unless required for religious or cultural reasons.
• Take the photo straight on—avoid low angles.
• Minimize shadows and bright lights behind you.

• Our team can assist with taking your ID and selfie photos if needed.• If you don’t have a camera-enabled phone, we can send the link to someone accompanying you or use a store device.
• We’ll ensure the person activating the service is the one completing the verification.
• If you wear religious or cultural face coverings, we offer private spaces, gender-specific assistance, or alternative verification options. Three attempts must be made with AuthenticID before switching to enhanced credit verification.

🔄 What Happens Next• This step applies to new activations (TELUS and Koodo), line additions, renewals (within 90 days), and transfers between TELUS and Koodo.• You’ll have up to three attempts to complete the verification.
• Please don’t close the window between attempts—it resets the process and may prevent error tracking.
• If all three attempts fail, you can try a different ID or proceed with enhanced credit verification.

We follow our standard photo ID policy.
Please note:
• INCA photo card is coming soon.
• Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) is no longer accepted.
• Some international passports may not be supported—if you see an error, try another ID.

After submitting your photos, there’s a short 2-minute delay before we begin processing.
This gives you time to complete the submission and receive your results before your session expires.
